Ain't no feeling like being free...
Emotional freedom
As I embraced the cozy chaos of my 30s, a nagging feeling of restlessness started to ripple through my well-orchestrated life, or so I thought. I’d often talked about being an emotional fraud… At this point turning 35 became more than just a milestone; it became a crossroads where comfort transformed into a gilded cage. Little did I know, this journey would not only redefine my understanding of self but also lead me through the intricate labyrinth of love, tearing me down to build me up. Brick by brick, this is my story—an intimate dance with change and the challenges of navigating love, a journey that unlocked not just my potential but the depths of my heart.
Tuhhhh, change at 35, is not just a whisper—it's a symphony, a harmonious blend of the expected and the unexpected. It's realizing that love, like life, is a constant ebb and flow. The nature of change became apparent not only in the evolution of my own self but also in the delicate dance of love, where expectations meet reality, and hearts find new rhythms.
Love, with all its warmth and complexities, revealed the boundaries I'd unknowingly set for myself. Fear of vulnerability, the weight of past heartaches—they all played a role in creating walls that hindered the full expression of love. Acknowledging these self-limiting boundaries became the first step in unraveling the knots that held me back from a richer, more fulfilling connection.
Within the confines of comfort, love can become stagnant, predictable. Yet, stepping beyond the familiar terrain is no small feat. The comfort zone conundrum extends to matters of the heart, where risking the known for the unknown is a dance of courage. Love challenged me to step out of the comfortable scripts I'd written for myself and embrace the beautiful messiness of vulnerability.
“I’ve just scratched the surface. Stay tuned for more.”
