Reflections from 30,000 Feet: Thoughts @ 2am
Trusting the Process Even When It Feels Quiet…
There’s something sacred about being suspended between places. Somewhere high above the clouds, caught between what was and what’s coming next.
Two weeks ago, I was on a flight to Japan. As I looked out of the window, I felt the hum of transition beneath me, the quiet momentum of progress moving forward even when I can’t see it clearly.
This space both literal and metaphorical specifically with the week that followed, reminded me how often growth happens in the in-between. It’s not always loud or obvious. Sometimes, it’s slow and steady, like the gentle drift of a plane through the sky.
I’m learning to trust that process. To believe that even when I don’t feel “done” or “there,” something is still unfolding inside me. That every small step — every moment of showing up — matters, even if the results aren’t immediate.
It’s tempting to measure progress by visible outcomes, but I’m starting to see that progress is also about patience, presence, and grace.
This week, I’m grounding myself in gratitude, for the quiet, unseen work happening beneath the surface. I’m inviting myself to slow down, to be present with the process, and to trust that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
If you’re feeling stuck or uncertain, maybe this space between the known and the unknown is exactly where the unraveling is happening.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Here’s to a soulful ease midweek, to steady breath, and to the trust that everything is unfolding on its own perfect timeline.
