Spread Love find Joy...
Morning Thoughts...
We spend so much of our lives searching for purpose. Reading books, watching podcasts, bouncing from job to job, trying to decode what it is we were put here to do. Everyone says, “Find your purpose. Find purpose-driven work. Make sure it aligns.” And while I get the intention behind that, I’ve started to wonder…
What if the only thing we’re truly meant to do is Spread Love?
Not find it. Not wait on it. Just be it. Just give it. Every room we walk in, every conversation, every quiet moment with a stranger. Every time we show up, even when we’re tired, because we know someone needs a little light.
I spent so many years trying to climb the ladder..chasing what I thought was purpose. The six-figure job, The title.
The “you made it” moment. And when I finally got it? Whew. It came with more stress. More confusion. More loneliness. The ladder didn’t feel like a climb — it felt like a trap door. And the higher I went, the further I drifted from the peace I was actually craving.
But do you know when I started to feel real fulfillment?
It wasn’t in a corner office.
It wasn’t when I hit a number.
It wasn’t when someone called me “successful.”
It was when I slowed down enough to look people in the eye.
To really see them….
To give freely — without waiting for applause.
To show up for someone simply because I could.
That’s when I started to feel alive. That’s when I started to feel useful — not because of what I could produce, but because of how I made people feel. That’s when I realized that maybe I wasn’t put here to achieve a job. Maybe I was put here to give love.
There’s so much joy in pouring out. So much beauty in understanding people. And ironically, all that searching I did for meaningful work led me to something I already had the power to do all along:
Spread Love.
Everywhere… All the time.
