When Life Gives You Lemons...

Dear You,
Life has a way of handing us lemons, doesn’t it?
Unexpected twists, disappointments… The moments when you realize the world won’t always meet you with the same care you’ve shown it.
If you’ve been the one you’ve always depended on, I see you. That kind of strength is rare, but I hope you also know this: you cannot expect you from other people and that’s okay. That’s not failure In all honesty it’s what makes us all unique. It’s what gives us room to grow.
The beauty of life is not in how easy it is, but in how we choose to respond to it.
Lemons can be sharp, sour, even bitter, but in the “right hands”…..yours, they can become something sweet. A reminder that perspective is power.. Attitude is a kind of alchemy, Attitude is Everything!!
So give yourself grace when others can’t meet you where you are.
Celebrate the ways you’ve learned to stand on your own two feet.
And when life hands you lemons again,..and it will. Remember that you hold the choice:
To grow bitter, or to grow better.
To close off, or to keep opening.
To see only the sour, or to find the sweetness tucked inside.
You are not defined by the lemons.
You are absolutely defined by the love you carry, the grace you give yourself, and the perspective that turns even hard things into light.
